  • Teacher's Instruction
    1. Teachers should encourage the students to recollect all the technical names. Eg: Disk, drive, task manager, sent items, bookmarks, URL, page borders, font colour, background colour, etc.
    2. This is a long lesson. The students may not be able to complete all the 5 exercises. Make them complete as many exercises as possible. If no students have completed all 5 or if some students have not completed even 3 exercises, you can repeat the lesson for one more class.
    3. Ask students to think about how the computer does its job. Then explain how apps are loaded from storage to memory and then the CPU executes instruction by instruction the various steps in the app. While doing that read and write from another area in the memory.
    4. At the beginning of this lesson, do a thorough recap of all the things they learnt last year related to Windows UI.
